Magnetic pulleys: common questions
How does a magnetic pulley work?
The pulley holds iron against the belt as it turns. Clean product leaves the belt in its normal path; the iron is carried underneath and drops into a separate chute.
Can it replace my existing pulley?
Usually yes, if the diameter, face width and shaft match. Send your conveyor drawing or measurements.
Which diameter?
It depends on belt width, speed and burden. The standard range is 50 to 160 mm; larger pulleys are quoted on request.
Pulley or overband?
Pulleys suit shallow, evenly spread burden. For deep burden or big tramp iron on top, use an overband magnet.
Is the gauss guaranteed?
The table shows the range per diameter. We confirm the field for your exact build at quotation.
