Up to ~10,000 Gauss
High-energy rare-earth magnet assemblies give a strong surface field to catch ferrous fragments, such as iron particles and worn machine parts, as product flows past. Field strength is confirmed for your air gap and product flow.
Continuous-weld SS304/SS316 stainless housings with a smooth, cleanable finish, designed to support your HACCP and ISO 22000 food-safety programme. Strong ferrous capture you can inspect, clean and trust.
Our plate magnets are built for food plants that cannot afford metal in the product. You get a surface field of up to ~10,000 Gauss*, a 100% full-weld stainless steel (SS304 or SS316) housing with continuous seal welds, no crevices, no gaps and no exposed fasteners on the product side, and seams finished to a smooth, cleanable surface.
The result is a ferrous foreign-body control that is simple to sanitise, simple to inspect and simple to record, so it fits naturally into your HACCP plan and your ISO 22000 food safety management system.
*Typical rating. Actual field at the product depends on air gap, plate size and application, so we confirm it with you before you order.
Strength, cleanability and traceable control. Every plate magnet is designed around all three.

The housing is sealed with continuous seal welds, so there are no open seams for product, moisture or bacteria to hide in. No screws or bolts on the product-contact face. Weld seams are finished to a smooth, cleanable surface.
Fabricated in SS304 as standard, or SS316 for corrosive products, washdown chemicals and humid environments. Smooth faces and radiused, finished edges make wiping and washing down quick.
Bolted or riveted housings create seams and fastener heads where product and moisture collect. A full-weld plate removes those hiding places.
Ferrous foreign bodies are a recognised physical hazard in food processing. A well-placed, hygienically built plate magnet is a practical control for that hazard. Here is how our design helps you meet hygiene requirements.
| Your food-safety need | How the plate magnet design supports it |
|---|---|
| Physical hazard control (ferrous foreign bodies) | Up to ~10,000 Gauss* surface field captures ferrous fragments at the point in the line your HACCP team selects: chute, spout, duct or above a conveyor. |
| Hygienic equipment design | 100% full-weld SS304/SS316 body, no crevices, no exposed fasteners, smooth cleanable finish. |
| Cleaning and sanitation (prerequisite programme) | Hinged or quick-release designs and smooth faces let sanitation crews clean quickly and consistently. |
| Monitoring and verification | Simple inspection and cleaning checklist below, plus a routine cling/pull test or Gauss-meter reading if your site wants a record. |
| Food-contact materials | Food-grade stainless steel for product-contact surfaces; tell us your product and cleaning chemicals to choose SS304 or SS316. |
| Traceable documentation | We work with your QA team on drawings and specifications for your records. Ask us what documents you need. |
Adapt this to your own SOP. Frequency should follow your hazard analysis and how much ferrous material you find.
Hinged for swing-open cleaning, plain for fixed or suspended use, and sized to your chute, duct or conveyor.
Mounted in chutes, spouts and ducts. The plate swings open on stainless hinges so operators can clear captured ferrous quickly and inspect the face.
Hung above a belt to lift tramp iron from the product stream. Simple, rugged and easy to reach for cleaning.
Removable designs for lines with frequent sanitation windows. Ask us about latch and handle options that suit your washdown routine.
Width, length, height, flange or hinge layout and mounting points are made to your requirements. Send a photo, sketch or dimensions and we will quote in writing.

We can build plate magnets with a surface field of up to about 10,000 Gauss. This is a typical rating, not a guarantee for every build. The field at the product depends on the air gap, plate size and how far the product stream sits from the magnet face, so we confirm the right specification with you for your chute, spout or conveyor.
Full weld means the stainless steel housing is closed with continuous seal welds, so there are no open seams, crevices or gaps where product, moisture or bacteria can lodge, and no exposed screws or bolts on the product-contact face. The weld seams are finished to a smooth, cleanable surface.
Yes, it is designed to support your HACCP programme. A sealed, smooth, easy-clean stainless magnet is easier to sanitise and inspect, and it can serve as a ferrous foreign-body control at a point your HACCP team has identified. Your HACCP plan, critical control points and validation remain your own.
No. We do not claim that Arrowmatics holds ISO 22000 or HACCP certification. ISO 22000 certifies a food safety management system at your site. Our role is to supply fit-for-purpose, hygienic-design plate magnets that support your ISO 22000 and HACCP programme. Customers remain responsible for their own certification.
Plate magnet housings are fabricated in food-grade stainless steel, SS304 as standard and SS316 where your product, cleaning chemicals or washdown conditions are more corrosive. Tell us your product and sanitiser and we will recommend the grade.
Fit a hinged or quick-release design so the plate can be swung open or lifted out, wipe or wash off the captured ferrous material, then inspect the face and weld seams for damage, dents or corrosion, and record the check. Set the cleaning frequency from how much ferrous material you find. See the checklist on this page.
Set a routine in your HACCP or prerequisite programme: visual inspection of the face and welds, a pull or cling test with a test piece, and a Gauss-meter reading on the surface if your site wants a numeric record. Ask us what verification suits your application.
Yes. Plate width, length, height, flange or hinge layout and mounting are made to your chute, duct or conveyor drawing. Send a photo, sketch or dimensions on WhatsApp +60 12-211 2522 and we will quote in writing.
Send your product, chute or conveyor size, hygiene requirement (SS304 or SS316) and quantity. A photo or sketch helps. Written B2B quote, no online prices.
