## FAQ

**Is neodymium the same as NdFeB?** Yes. NdFeB (neodymium-iron-boron) is the material; people search for it as neodymium or rare-earth magnets.
**Which grade should I choose?** Higher numbers are stronger. The letter sets the temperature: N up to 80 °C, M 100 °C, H 120 °C, SH 150 °C, UH 180 °C, EH 200 °C.
**Above 200 °C?** Use SmCo (samarium cobalt). See our SmCo page.
**Can you make a custom size?** Yes. Send a drawing or the dimensions, grade, coating and quantity.
**What coating do you use?** Coating depends on the job. Tell us the environment and we will confirm the coating at quotation.
**Are they safe to handle?** Large neodymium magnets snap together hard and can pinch fingers or crack. Handle with care and keep them away from pacemakers and electronics.
