# Drawer magnets for feed throats and hoppers

A stainless housing with a pull-out drawer of magnetic bars, mounted straight onto the feed throat of your machine. Tramp metal is stopped before it reaches the screw.

## FAQ

**Why put a magnet on the feed throat?** Screws, nuts and broken metal in resin or regrind can damage the screw and barrel. A drawer magnet stops it at the last point before the machine.
**Ceramic or rare-earth?** Ceramic suits general tramp metal. Choose rare-earth for fine iron or difficult materials. Tell us your material and we will advise.
**Will it fit my machine?** Standard openings are 100 to 250 mm square. We can match your throat flange; send its dimensions or a photo.
**How do I clean it?** Slide the drawer out and wipe the bars. Clean on a schedule set by how much metal you catch.
**Is it only for plastics?** No. It also works under hoppers for food, powder and granular products.
